Having a never ending battle with your dry skin? It’s time for a challenge – let’s get hydrated.
Dry skin isn’t all the same, so in our 7 day skin challenge, we’re addressing three types of dry skin: extremely dry, dry/combination and dry/sensitive.
WHAT TYPE OF DRY SKIN DO I HAVE?
Extremely Dry: Your skin is flaky, rough, scaly and uncomfortable
Dry/Combination: You have some flaky patches, and oily through the T-Zone
Dry/Sensitive: Your skin may be scaly and uncomfortable and is often reactive & irritated
DAY ONE
Extremely Dry:
Use a nourishing mask overnight for a boost of moisture. Try Aspect Hydrating Mask. You can continue to use this mask weekly, or whenever your skin needs additional hydration – Aspect’s Hydrating Mask can be left on the skin to soak in.
Dry/Combination:
Introduce an oil cleanser to remove excess oils without disrupting the skin’s natural barrier in dry areas. Try Cosmedix Purity Solution Deep Cleansing Oil. Use daily to remove makeup, dirt and excess oil.

Help to restore skin’s natural protective barrier by introducing a facial oil at night. Try massaging The Ordinary 100% Cold-Pressed Virgin Marula Oil into the skin, or mix it in with your usual moisturiser.

Try a hydrating serum with Niacinamide to clear breakouts and regulate oil production while still hydrating the skin. Aspect Extreme B 17 will also increase the radiance of your skin.
