If you’re ordering from New Zealand, your parcel may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or additional fees depending on your order value and local customs requirements.

These charges are set by New Zealand Customs and are not included in your order total or shipping costs.

Will I need to pay customs fees?

Some orders may incur customs duties or import taxes when entering New Zealand.

Whether these charges apply depends on:

• New Zealand customs regulations at the time of import
• The type of items purchased

If applicable, these fees are charged by local customs authorities, not by Adore Beauty.

Who pays these fees?

Any customs duties, import taxes, or additional charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

These charges are not included at checkout and must be paid directly to the relevant authority or delivery carrier if requested.

What happens if duties or taxes are payable?

If your parcel is subject to import charges, you may see a tracking update such as:

• “Import Duty and Tax Payable”
• “Import Duty and Tax Assessment”

If this occurs, your delivery may be delayed by approximately 3–5 business days while the charges are processed.

For orders over NZD $1,000, DHL may contact you directly via SMS or phone to arrange payment before delivery can be completed.
