If you’re not home at the time of delivery, your parcel may be left in a safe location at your address.
We apply Authority to Leave to all orders by default, where it is safe for the driver to do so.
How is the delivery location decided?
If no one is available to receive your parcel, the delivery driver will assess your property and choose a safe, weather-protected location.
This is based on the driver’s discretion at the time of delivery.
Where might my parcel be left?
Your parcel may be left in a secure or sheltered location such as:
- Front door or porch
- Behind bins or side access areas
- Mailbox or letterbox (if suitable)
- Mailroom, reception, or concierge (if applicable and accessible)
- Secure building entry areas
The exact location will vary depending on what the driver considers safe.
What if there is no safe place to leave it?
If the driver is unable to find a suitable or secure location, they will redirect your parcel to a nearby depot or Collection Point
Can I track where my parcel was left?
In many cases, your tracking information may include proof of delivery, which can show details or an image of where your parcel was left.
This feature is provided by the delivery carrier and may not be available for all orders.
